Ken Gilbert serves as the Americas Solutions Consultant Managing Director for Automated Logic. In this capacity, he leads a team dedicated to collaborating with specifying consulting engineers, as well as ALC factory-authorized dealers and branches, to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. His team also provides critical support to design engineers in developing project solutions, including specifications, sequences of operations, points lists, and flow diagrams.
Ken brings extensive industry experience to Automated Logic, having held a variety of roles in sales, engineering, and consulting. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed his MBA at the University of Georgia in 2023. As a LEED Accredited Professional, Ken is actively engaged with ASHRAE and BACnet International. He resides in the Atlanta area with his family and their dog.

Success Story: McLeod Hospital
A 30-year veteran of the HVAC and DDC Control Industry, Billy Blackburn, ACEM, is the Coastal Area Account/Business Development Manager for Harris Integrated Solutions.
He is a former factory certified centrifugal chiller technician and manager; is Allen Bradley PLC certified; and is a Network Plus and factory certified DDC control technician, trainer, and salesperson. Blackburn is based in Summerville, SC.
Tony Holcomb is an Energy Consultant with Harris Integrated Solutions. He is a retired Director of Maintenance and Operation for Georgetown County Schools in South Carolina. He served three years as Vice-Chairman for the Association of South Carolina Energy Managers, won South Carolina Energy Manager of the Year in 2016, and won South Carolina Energy Project of the Year in 2013.
To Holcomb, his biggest career accomplishment was not having to increase Georgetown County School District’s energy budget over 14 years, helping keep teachers employed and students learning.

Joe Tossing is the North American Southeast Region Manager for Automated Logic, where he supports dealer and branch organizations in the application, deployment, and lifecycle execution of enterprise building automation systems. He brings more than 20 years of experience guiding complex, mission-critical infrastructure across healthcare, higher education, government, and regulated enterprise environments.
Joe’s career has been built in applied systems leadership—working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and business strategy. He is deeply fluent in direct digital controls (DDC), open-standards architectures, enterprise supervisory platforms, and cybersecurity-aware BAS design, with a focus on interoperability, risk reduction, and long-term operational resilience. His perspective is shaped by real-world execution: systems under load, portfolios at scale, and decisions where performance, uptime, and cost carry material consequences.

Kevin began his career with Carrier in Syracuse, NY in 1984, working in the Psychrometric Testing Labs as a Design Development Engineer. Over the years, he contributed to advanced projects including VRF alternative refrigerants, duct-free split algorithm testing, and earned two United States patents. His unique assignments included special projects such as the Inca Mummy Display Case Project.
He later advanced into project engineering and project management roles, focusing on Carrier Comfort Network (CCN), Carrier i-Vu and energy performance projects, before transitioning into sales leadership as Controls Sales Manager for the Northeast. Kevin then joined Automated Logic, where he supported national and strategic accounts across the hospitality, retail, and airline sectors.
Through the UTC Educational Program, Kevin earned a BS in Mechanical & System Design. After many years with ALC/UTC, he relocated south and joined Harris Integrated Solutions, as a Strategic Business Development Manager/Engineer.
