No Boat for This Energy Manager

Jack Thompson, energy manager for Beaufort County Schools, doesn’t always have to take a boat ride to know how the HVAC system is working at a school on isolated Daufuskie Island, a small island off the southern South Carolina coast.  Thanks to an Automated Logic system installed by Harris Integrated Solutions he can check the parameters from his office on the mainland or even from his home.

Not only does the system save labor costs, its primary benefit is controlling energy usage so more district dollars can be used to educate students.
